Responsibilities:
- Accurately record all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other financial activities, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
- Maintain and update general ledgers, journals, and other accounting records on a regular basis, keeping them organized and easily accessible for auditing purposes.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, providing insights into the company’s financial performance.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and monitor budgets, providing financial forecasts and variance analysis to support decision-making.– Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies or issues that require resolution.
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to minimize tax liabilities and maximize benefits.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) are advantageous.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role. Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting principles is essential.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar), MS Excel, and other financial tools. Strong understanding of financial modeling and analysis.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Cashier
